Only few people even know that coffee grow in Zegié Peninsula, in BAHIR DAR, Amhara region, Ethiopia. People in Zegié have been producing coffee for centuries. In 13th century, Abune Bete Mariam, the monk of Zegié Peninsula, established a settlement with the residents to produce coffee in the Peninsula.
