Ardent Completes New Coffee Processing Warehouse
Ardent Coffee is pleased to announce the completion of our new warehouse and coffee processing facility in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Located on a 10,000 m² compound, the facility represents an important milestone in our growing coffee operation and our commitment to serving customers around the world.
The modern warehouse is equipped with advanced coffee processing machinery for cleaning, grading, sorting, and final export preparation. This includes an AI-powered color sorting machine, helping our team achieve greater precision and consistency in the final preparation of our coffees.
With a processing capacity of up to 10 tons per hour, the new facility significantly increases our ability to handle both specialty coffees and larger-volume programs efficiently.
More importantly, having our own processing facility gives Ardent greater control over quality and traceability. Individual coffees and lots can be carefully managed throughout final processing, helping us maintain their identity and prepare them according to our customers’ requirements. The increased capacity will also allow us to shorten preparation times and provide faster shipping service to our international customers.
From our coffee-growing origins and washing stations to final processing in Addis Ababa, this new facility strengthens Ardent’s ability to manage coffee with greater care and control throughout the journey from origin to export.
