Harenna Forest in Bale mountains
Harenna Forest in Bale mountains is another place to explore wild coffee in Ethiopia. These mountains, with altitude ranging from 1,500m to 4,377m, are home for "the big five" endemic animals living in Ethiopia today: Mountain Nyala, Ethiopian Wolf, Menelik's Bushbuck, Bale Monkey, and Giant mole-rat. I grew up hearing about these animals. I'm glad I got a chance to see them today. #ethiopia, #wildlife, #wildcoffee, #endemicanimals, #theCoffee, #thePeople, #theLand

In 10 Days
In 10 days, we covered 10 coffee growing areas in southwest Ethiopia. We drove over 1,800km from Addis Ababa and visited 3 Biosphere Reserves, 6 coffee forests, and many coffee farms. The coffee forests are stunning and undoubtedly expressive of the untouched beauty of nature. Next stop - Bale mountain, Herenna Coffee Forest. #ethiopia, #wildcoffee, #theCoffee, #thePeople, #theLand
