Majang Forest Biosphere Reserve

Majang Forest Biosphere Reserve, recently recognized by UNESCO, is located in Gambela region in the west part of the country. Native Majang are also called "forest people". They get everything they need from the forest. They say that the only thing needed to survive in these forests is a machete (a large knife with broad blade). The skills needed and the knowledge about their environment is already learned from their ancestors. #Gambela, #Ethiopiancoffee, #theCoffee, #thePeople, #theLand
